Pope Francis and friend
This video that has gone viral in the internet is about an intrepid young boy who went up the stage while Pope Francis was delivering a homily to parents and grandparents in St. Peter’s Square on the importance of family life.
As if wanting to know the white-frocked speaker better, on his own the boy approached the pope and got his attention, so much so that he seemingly didn’t want others to interfere in his glorious moment of being alone with his new-found friend.
On his part, Pope Francis, like a doting grandparent himself, allowed his new acquaintance to do what pleased him, despite the enticement offered him to step down.
This video is so touching that you could feel the warmth of Pope Francis’ persona.
