Pacquiao gets unlikely support from Enrile for anti-gay comments

Senator Juan Ponce Enrile

Senator Juan Ponce Enrile

Of all people that came forward to give boxing champion and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao moral support for his anti-gay comments, which compared them as “worse than animals” for their sexual preferences (, it has to be Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile, for Chrissakes!

I was hoping that in his old age Enrile would rise up to the occasion reflective of his intellectual prowess and wisdom to inculcate in Pacquiao’s mind how the members of the LGBT community should be treated.

Alas, while nuggets of wisdom was expected from an adroit politician to be shared with Pacquiao, Enrile instead corrupted Pacquiao’s mind with a shitty advice to the LGBT community telling them, “the better go to Mars”, after the offended group lambasted the bigotry of Pacquiao.

Known for his deviousness, Enrile was just being true to who he really is as he has nothing to lose anymore – politically. He just wants to make sure he is siding with the 2016 presidential and senatorial candidates who will exonerate him from the plunder charges against him, if they win.

Corruption of any form is what Enrile does best and his involvement in the scandalous P10-billion pork barrel scam that is still being investigated, although he has been freed for humanitarian reason using his craftiness, is reason enough for the LGBT community to get back at him and wish that the aging and ailing senator would go to HELL!

An eye for an eye!

  1. I’m with you there! I don’t even have the proper words for those two men and their followers that wouldn’t be bleeped out.

    Hope you’re doing well!

Good to hear from you again. All is well, thank you. Haven’t been writing much. Getting turned off with what is happening politically in the country and the miserable global impact wrought by the continuing war in Syria, made worst by Russia forcefully coming to the rescue of Assad. This is not to mention China’s occupation and militarization of the South China Sea, including that which is seen to be right at our own country’s backyard. Very discouraging events, indeed, which reading a lot instead and keeping in shape make my days worthwhile. Hope all is well with you, too.

      • The news hasn’t been good at all, that’s for sure! I’ve just been keeping myself busy with writing and publishing, though the promotions part is what takes up most of my time. Am returning to writing more these days though, otherwise I’ll never get to finish the books that need to get out the door this year.
