Bright future now lies ahead for Finn

Finn Glazbrook, then and now

This is an update on the condition of Finn Glazbrook, who was the subject of my blog a couple of years ago: https://quierosaber.wordpress.com/tag/retinoblastoma/.

If not for the timely call of a highly concerned friend of Finn’s mother, who saw the abnormality of the little boy’s eye, while browsing her friend’s Facebook, a grave consequence could have happened to Finn’s sense of sight.

The then six-month-old has grown remarkably big and his eyes are now cancer free – thanks to chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and stints at Ronald Mcdonald house, a place to stay for families with hospitalized children who are receiving treatment.
